Job Description

SAP EWM Senior Consultant - 7 month initial contract - Hybrid - English and Portuguese

 

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Senior Consultant to support a global manufacturing end client with its SAP S/4HANA rollout in Portoalegre, Portugal.

 

Key details:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Location: Portalegre, Portugal, with on-site attendance once or twice a month.
  • Languages: English required; Portuguese is an advantage.
  • Project timeline: Go-live planned for 1 July 2027, followed by hypercare.

 

Expected responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the local EWM team while providing hands-on functional expertise.
  • Review existing warehouse processes and deliver configuration and system preparation in line with the global core model.
  • Produce functional specification documents for agreed localisation requirements.
  • Support EWM data migration from the existingnon-SAP system, including bins, stock, control cycles and packaging instructions.
  • Work with local users on testing, training and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with the wider programme team on cutover, go-live and hypercare.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on SAP EWM functional and configuration experience.
  • Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.
  • Experience with EWM data migration and functional specifications.
  • A good understanding of warehouse operations and integration with wider SAP logistics processes.
  • Clear communication with warehouse users and international project teams, with the ability to manage local requirements within an established core model.
