Role/Responsibilities

  • Conduct a technical audit of the current SAP BI landscape, including BW 7.5 and BusinessObjects
  • Provide expertise in BW modelling (ADSO), BEx Queries (including complex logic), and UNV/UNX Universes
  • Support BW-related migration activities, including assessment of existing data flows and structures
  • Leverage strong ABAP for BW skills to read, analyse, and debug routines, user exits, and custom Z programs (mandatory)
  • Assess and document data extraction processes, particularly from ECC using ODP/ODQ and standard extractors (FI, SD, Retail)
  • Deliver key outputs including a full data lineage matrix (source to report) and a business logic dictionary to support migration to a cloud target
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
